Designed to elevate your space with positivity and utility. Yonca is a colorful and engaging collection of nesting organizers designed for multiple uses. It can serve as a desk organizer for pencils, pens, and tools or as a kitchen utensil holder. Yonca includes three vessels of varying heights and shapes. When stacked, they form compartments that keep various items separate and well-organized. Depending on your needs, you can stack all three, two, or use them separately.

Motivation

Inspired by the 80's bright and bold furniture work of Memphis Group. Founded by Ettore Sottsass, The Memphis Group was a design collective known for its postmodernist aesthetic, characterized by bold and eclectic combinations of materials, colors, and forms. Their work often featured playful and unconventional designs that challenged traditional design principles. Inspired by these principles, I aimed to create a desktop organizer that embodies the spirit of the Memphis Group—a design language that injects a sense of beauty and optimism into your space, all while aiding in the organization of your work surface.
