—A Bond-esque attaché case with strength & subtlety

Brief

Designed to transport your work essentials in style, this slim case balances resilience with refinement. Zero Halliburton Atache case is extension of Pursuit travel case line. (See project story here). Zero Halliburton stands as an iconic premium American brand that pioneered aluminum travel cases in the 1930s, establishing an authentic heritage and legacy through its commitment to quality craftsmanship, resilience, and durability. As part of our efforts to revitalize their product line, we were tasked with designing a new attaché case, the most iconic SKU in their range.

Concave Edge

Through rigorous testing, we discovered that a concave edge surpasses a rounded edge in terms of strength, forming the foundational element of the new design language for the Pursuit line. We incorporated this distinctive concave edge detail into the attaché case, enhancing its strength while crafting a beautiful sculptural design language.

Comfortable handle

The glossy and vibrant handle pays homage to the cellulose handles of ZH's mid-century cases. Its comfortable soft D-shaped cross-section not only invites touch but also ensures ease of carrying.

Signature ribs & brushed texture

ZH is renowned for its distinctive clean design featuring signature ribs on its cases, providing protection when the case is set on a surface. As we reinterpreted the signature ribs design, we also incorporated a subtle brushed texture to the entire case, which serves to seamlessly blend small scratches into the surface, concealing minor dents and imperfections.

Sturdy outside, gentle inside

While the exterior is built to embody sturdiness and reliability, we designed the interior with premium and soft leather to provide gentle protection for your belongings.
